1:1 Training at Our Private Steading

Need some 1:1 support with your dog?

Whether you're dealing with a specific issue or just want some extra guidance, 1:1 sessions give us the space to focus fully on you and your dog. We’ll go at your pace, work through whatever’s going on, and help you feel more confident together.

We use modern, force-free, reward-based methods that are backed by science and built on trust. Our approach is relationship-based, practical, and always tailored to suit you and your dog.

Sessions take place at our private steading between Winchburgh and Linlithgow. It’s a quiet, private space set up with both indoor and outdoor areas, so we can train in all weathers and adapt the environment to suit your dog’s needs. There’s onsite parking and a toilet available, and the whole setup is designed to help both dogs and humans feel relaxed and ready to learn.

what we can work on

Every dog (and human!) is different — so we’ll focus on what matters most to you.

Common Training Areas

  • Loose-lead walking
  • Reliable recall
  • Jumping up and greeting manners
  • Barking or overreacting to people/dogs on walks
  • Confidence building
  • Settle and calm behaviours
  • Focus and engagement outdoors
  • General puppy training — early foundations, socialisation, learning to focus

When a Home Visit Might Be More Suitable

Some behaviours are best seen in your dog’s everyday environment. We may recommend a home visit for things like:

  • Toilet training
  • Barking at the door
  • Jumping at visitors
  • Lifestyle at home
  • Routine and environment-specific concerns

If you're not sure what's best, just get in touch - we're happy to chat it through. And if it's something that falls outside what we offer, we’ll always be honest and recommend a trusted behaviourist if needed.
